The client, a global IT consultancy headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, sought to increase their presence within the Scottish public sector. By partnering with Victoryworks, the client leveraged our credentials in working with technology companies and our strategic approach to our engagements. The result was a significant increase in brand saliency and a successful face-to-face engagement with senior decision makers in Scotland.
The story of the client...
Founded in 2000, the client has grown into one of the leading IT consultancies in Europe, with 10 offices across 6 different countries. As a key growth market, the UK was a strategic focus for the client. Despite their international success, the client had little brand presence in Scotland and sought to build relationships and establish their presence within the region.
The ask...
The client wanted to increase their presence within the Scottish public sector. The challenge was to build brand awareness and drive conversations to establish relationships in a market where they had minimal presence.
Why the client chose Victoryworks
The client chose to work with Victoryworks due to our proven credentials in working with technology companies and our ability to collaborate with senior industry leads. Our strategic approach to deliver a campaign and event that resonated with the target audience was key to the clients decision to work with us.
How Victoryworks responded
Victoryworks collaborated closely with the the client team to understand their challenges with their go-to-market strategy in Scotland. It was established that a lack of brand presence and human interactions were hindering their efforts. We discovered there was a series of overlaps with Denmark and Scotland in terms of demographics – which in turn provided strong messages, especially with the clients credentials and case studies in Denmark. In response, we delivered a series of content pieces focused on this overlap – including a whitepaper distributed over paid channels to target senior decision makers within the Scottish public sector.
Following this, Victoryworks organised a roundtable at the Danish consulate in Edinburgh, leveraging those engaged in the campaign and the kudos of the Danish consulate to drive attendees. The event focused on talk tracks around the Scotts-Danish overlaps -thus effectively engaging senior decision makers.
The Results
As a result of the campaign, the client saw over 200 downloads of their Scottish government whitepaper amongst senior decision makers within the Scotts public sector. Additionally, 13 senior decision makers attended their roundtable event, allowing for long-term relationships to be cemented with their senior consultants.
